CHUBB CARE GUIDE
CARING FOR YOUR NEW CHUBB
Hi there! Thank you for welcoming this Chubb into your home. We have spent hours lovingly handcrafting this little one using 100% Australian wool yarn and felting wool. Each Chubb is completely one of a kind and made just for you. We hope that it brings you great joy. The most important thing to remember is to keep your Chubb DRY and CLEAN! Here are a few extra tips to help your little Chubb last as long as they can in the best condition, here are some basic care instructions:
★ Chubbz are NOT toys! Chubbz are happiest and safest when sitting on display in a dry area out of direct sunlight. To keep them even more safe, you could place them behind glass in a cabinet or box.
★ If you’d like to handle your Chubb, it’s best to do so as gently as possible and with clean dry hands.
★ Your Chubb is made from 100% wool products so in the worst case scenario, there is a small chance that they may attract moths. To prevent moths, you can place sachets of dried lavender or bayleaves near your Chubb.
★ Keep your Chubb safely away from dirt and moisture. Do not attempt to wash your Chubb in any way as moisture will damage them significantly. In the scenario that dirt comes in contact with your Chubb, gently brush away the surface areas with a make up brush or paint brush. You can also use a mini desk vacuum or a vacuum cleaner on the lowest setting to blow away any dirt or cut away the affected area with a pair of scissors. If your Chubb has come in contact with moisture, leave to dry in a cool area or you can use a fan on cool.
★ If your Chubb gets a bit squished in travel or handling, do not pull on the fibres or attempt to brush the fibres if they have gone out of shape as they will pull the fibres out. You can smooth the fur down in the direction you want with clean dry fingers. You can also gently squish them or fluff them back into shape.
