WHAT ARE CHUBBZ?

Ever wanted a mini version of your doggo, catto, bunno or furry friend? Well now you can, with Chubbz – handcrafted, custom wool figurines of your fur baby. Every order is as special and unique as your pet! We have made orders for busy fur parents who like to keep their Chubbz on their desk when they are working, those who have lost their pet and want a special handmade memorabilia of them and even owners who want a little reminder of their new puppy! As cute and furry as they are, Chubbz are not toys, but they are wonderful sentimental gifts or something special for yourself to remind you of your beloved companion animal.

  • Chubbz are handcrafted using 100% pure wool and detail is added with wool roving supplied from our wonderful Australian suppliers.
  • Each order comes with it’s own personalized calico bag with a coloured sketch of your furbaby which can be used to hold your Chubb or for trinkets!
  • We also include a ribbon collar of your choice in a range of colours and a name tag!

THE ORDERING PROCESS!

  1. Choose the ‘fluffiness’ of your Chubb – is your pet short haired (e.g smooth haired breeds like Labradors, Viszlas, Dalmations), long haired (e.g. fluffy breeds like spitz breeds, Golden Retrievers, Angora rabbits and Ragdoll cats) or curly (e.g. Poodles and oodle breeds)? Feel free to message us if you are unsure which category your pet falls into as we may ask for an additional fee if your pet falls into a category with a higher skill and material charge than what you have chosen.
  2. Next, is your pet one colour or more than one? Please note that while we try to colour match your pet as best as we can sometimes it is not possible to colour match perfectly! We recommend including photos that accurately show their true colouring.
  3.  Choose whether you’d like your Chubb sitting, standing, lying down or in a bun loaf (if you are getting a bunny done)!
  4. Choose whether you’d like your pet with a tongue sticking out happily or without their tongue showing.
  5. Choose the colour of your complimentary ribbon that will have your pet’s name tag on it.
  6. Every order comes with a custom bag design portrait of your pet’s face. Please specify in our notes section on checkout if you would like something else and we will contact you to collaborate – it’s a great time to be creative.
  7. Upload reference photos for us to create your Chubb. For the most accurate final product, please include clear photos showing accurate colouring, marking and facial features. We suggest a minimum of a front on, side on and back photo. The more photos the better!
  8. Wait time is 2-3 weeks in normal periods and 3-5 weeks in busy periods such as Christmas and sale periods. If you would like your order sooner, you can choose RUSH MY ORDER and we will have your order completed between 1-3 days for an extra service fee. We recommend you also choose the EXPRESS SHIPPING option (please note that while we offer free shipping for orders over $250, this only covers standard shipping and you will need to select express shipping if you’d like your order quickly) at CHECKOUT.
  9. Once we have completed your Chubb, we will send you photos to check that you are happy with the final product or whether you’d like any changes.
  10. Your Chubb will be finalised based on your feedback and ready to post – YAY!

Please upload at least one clear photo of your pet from the front on. If you can, side on and back and any extra photos you would like to include will help too. We need photos that clearly show their details and any markings that you'd like to include on your Chubb. If you are having trouble uploading photos using your website, you can contact us to send photos through another method. Please note we cannot start your order without receiving photos of your pet.
We have our own Twitch stream where we showcase the behind the scenes of the making process. Would you be happy for us to use your reference photos in the stream while we make your order? If not, we will still make your order on stream but without showing your reference photos.
Do you consent for us to post your reference photos for display and comparison purposes on social media? For example, comparison photos of your pet to the piece we have created for you like the ones shown above. If you do not consent, we will use photos that we have taken of your piece but not include any refernece photos you have given us.
