WHAT ARE POMKEYS?

Ever wanted a mini version of your doggo, catto, bunno or furry friend to carry around with you? Well now you can, with our custom Pomkeys – handcrafted, 100% wool keyrings of your fur baby. Every order is as special and unique as your pet and they look great hanging on your keys, bags or around your desk. Pomkeys are an affordable, great fun little gift or something cute for yourself. They can even be a lovely form of memorabilia of pets that have past and/or current pets.

  • Pomkeys are handcrafted using 100% pure wool and detail is added with wool roving supplied from our wonderful Australian suppliers.
  • Each order comes with it’s own personalized calico bag with a coloured sketch of your furbaby which can be used to hold your Pomkey or for trinkets!
  • All our Pomkeys are made with a ‘smooth’ fur surface regardless of whether you have a long, fluffy or short haried pet. We do this to ensure they can stand against light wear and tear. If you would really like your Pomkey to have a ‘long haired or fluffy’ look, please send us a message on our Contact page. We are happy to make that for you if you understand that this type of needle felting can easily lead to fur being pulled out with handling.

THE ORDERING PROCESS!

  1. Choose the colouring of your Pomkey. Is your pet one colour or multiple colours? If they have 1 or 2 simple markings, you can choose the selection of one colour. Please note that while we try to colour match your pet as best as we can sometimes it is not possible to colour match perfectly! We recommend including photos that accurately show their true colouring.
  2. Choose whether you’d like your Pomkey with a tongue sticking out happily or without their tongue showing.
  3. Every order comes with a custom bag design portrait of your pet’s face. Please specify in our notes section on checkout if you would like something else and we will contact you to collaborate – it’s a great time to be creative.
  4. Upload reference photos for us to create your Chubb. For the most accurate final product, please include clear photos showing accurate colouring, marking and facial features. We suggest a minimum of a front on, side on and back photo. The more photos the better!
  5. Wait time is 1-2 weeks in normal periods and 3-4 weeks in busy periods such as Christmas and sale periods. If you would like your order sooner, you can choose RUSH MY ORDER and we will have your order completed between 1-3 days for an extra service fee. We recommend you also choose the EXPRESS SHIPPING option (please note that while we offer free shipping for orders over $250, this only covers standard shipping and you will need to select express shipping if you’d like your order quickly) at CHECKOUT.
  6. Once we have completed your Pomkey, we will send you photos to check that you are happy with the final product or whether you’d like any changes. Your Pomkey will be finalised based on your feedback
  7. Flat rate postage + handling for Pomkeys is $10 (free if you spend over $250). Your Pomkey is safely packaged in soft tissue and posted in a tough mailing box, ready to post –YAY!

We can make your Chubb with or without their tongue hanging out.
Please upload at least one clear photo of your pet from the front on. If you can, side on and back and any extra photos you would like to include will help too. We need photos that clearly show their details and any markings that you'd like to include on your Chubb. If you are having trouble uploading photos using your website, you can contact us to send photos through another method. Please note we cannot start your order without receiving photos of your pet.
We have our own Twitch stream where we showcase the behind the scenes of the making process. Would you be happy for us to use your reference photos in the stream while we make your order? If not, we will still make your order on stream but without showing your reference photos.
Do you consent for us to post your reference photos for display and comparison purposes on social media? For example, comparison photos of your pet to the piece we have created for you like the ones shown above. If you do not consent, we will use photos that we have taken of your piece but not include any refernece photos you have given us. If you do not consent, we will use photos that we have taken of your piece but not include any personal photos you have given us.
